(AVC) is hiring Environmental Applicators and Crew Supervisors to support aquatic vegetation management and environmental restoration projects throughout Broward County and surrounding areas. Whether you enjoy working independently or leading a field crew, AVC offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career with a stable, employee-owned company that has been serving Florida for forty years. No aquatic vegetation management experience is required. We provide paid training and will help qualified employees obtain their Florida pesticide applicator license. Position Opportunities Environmental Applicator Environmental Applicators work independently to manage invasive vegetation while helping protect South Florida's lakes, canals, wetlands, and waterways. Responsibilities include: Apply herbicides safely and responsibly to control invasive vegetation Work independently while managing assigned routes and daily responsibilities Operate company trucks, boats, trailers, and specialized application equipment Inspect and maintain assigned equipment Complete daily application records and reports Follow environmental regulations and company safety procedures Crew Supervisor Crew Supervisors lead and work alongside field crews performing aquatic vegetation management and environmental restoration projects.
