Job Description

Position:                  Groundskeeper Maintenance

Department:            Maintenance      

Location:                 Pembroke Pines Glass Plant

Reports to:              Maintenance Supervisor

Status:                     Full-Time/Non-Exempt

                                 Job Grade 2

                                 $19.50/hourly

General Purpose:

To safely and efficiently take care of the campus grounds and light campus facility maintenance.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Clean and organize the offices area.
• Maintain housekeeping in the breakroom, lobby and office in general.
• Pick up debris in the internal areas of the facility.
• Clean and pick up debris outside the break areas.
• Assist in manufacturing needs when applicable.
• Maintain housekeeping in the storage areas.

General Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to read and comprehend basic work instructions, standard procedures, etc.
• Ability to work in weather elements and conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Capability to stand and move frequently.
• Possess a collaborative, team-driven attitude. A good attendance record and a team mindset is critical.
• Be precision-driven, and able to comply with all quality and safety requirements.
