IT Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dependable IT Engineer to support and maintain our organization’s IT infrastructure. This role combines hands-on technical support with structured engineering discipline, requiring strong problem-solving abilities, ownership of tasks, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support network infrastructure, including troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues
• Configure, monitor, and support server environments (Microsoft Server 2016–2025)
• Support virtualization platforms, including Nutanix environments
• Provide general engineering support across IT systems and infrastructure
• Work within ticketing systems to track, prioritize, and resolve support requests
• Monitor system health, apply updates, and support backup and recovery processes
• Assist with system upgrades, deployments, and infrastructure projects
• Support program and project management activities related to IT initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and efficient operations
• Follow established procedures while also contributing to process improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or any relative technical field
• 2-5+ years experience in network engineering or infrastructure support
• Strong understanding of routing, switching, and network fundamentals
• Net+ and/or CCNA certifications are a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Server environments (2016–2025)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Nutanix experience strongly preferred)
• Background in general engineering or technical systems support
• Experience working with IT ticketing systems (incident/request management tools)
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Program management or project coordination experience
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
• Highly task-driven with the ability to create, follow, and maintain personal schedules

Additional Requirements:

• Some weekend work may be required as needed to support critical systems or project work
• Strong communication skills and professional accountability
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in an industrial or manufacturing environment
