Job Summary
The Production Coordinator supports the daily operations of the manufacturing facility by coordinating production schedules, managing work orders, and ensuring materials, labor, and equipment are aligned to meet customer delivery requirement.
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma/GEDrequired
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing, production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination role
Qualifications
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to teamwork, workplace safety, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Release, prioritize, and monitor production work orders.
- Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Inventory, Quality, and Shipping to ensure materials and resources are available to support production.
- Monitor production progress and communicate schedule changes, delays, or material shortages to appropriate departments.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory transactions, and work order status within the ERP system.
- Prepare production reports and provide scheduling updates to management.
- Assist in identifying production bottlenecks and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, quality standards, and established operating procedures.
