Position Summary:
Midvale Country Club is seeking a motivated and passionate Line Cook to join its culinary team. This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to develop skills in a high-quality kitchen environment focused on fresh, seasonal, and from-scratch cooking. The Line Cook will work closely with the culinary team to prepare and execute menu items while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with daily kitchen setup and station organization
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Follow food safety and handling guidelines
- Support the team during service in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with prep work, inventory, and restocking as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Prior kitchen or cooking experience preferred, but not required
- Strong interest in culinary arts and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Reliable and punctual
