Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing leadership to nursing staff. The RN delivers high-quality nursing services while promoting a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.

• Supervise, guide, and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality resident care.

• Monitor residents’ conditions and communicate changes promptly to physicians and family members.

• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.

• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.

• Act as a role model and resource for clinical staff, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Current NYS RN license in good standing.

• Current BLS Certification 

• Previous experience in Long-Term Care or Geriatric Nursing preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Compassionate, patient-focused, and committed to resident-centered care.
