About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Rebound Rehabilitation as a Physical Therapy Aide. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about helping others recover and improve their physical health in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under the supervision of licensed therapists.
- Document patient progress and report any changes to the therapy team.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in healthcare preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely and comfortably.
- Basic knowledge of physical therapy practices is a plus.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs.
- CPR certification is preferred but not required.
- Associate degree or coursework in kinesiology, exercise science, or a related field is a plus.
Hours: Part time hours between 7 am - 6 pm during Monday-Friday.
