We are seeking a part time/per diem front desk receptionist. Primarily for our Pennsburg and Emmaus offices, but willing to cover in the Quakertown office. There are regular weekly hours available as well as per diem hours to cover time off.

Summary: Serves as the first point of contact for patients, handling scheduling, check-in/out, insurance verification, communication, and administrative tasks to support daily office operations.

Essential Duties: Essential job duties for this position include the following items. Other duties must be performed as assigned or required.


  • Greet patients as they arrive.
  • Answer phone calls.
  • Schedule and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Provide patients with information regarding exams, appointments, policies, insurance, and general inquiries.
  • Collect copays and balances.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and demographics.
  • Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure patient flow.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and waiting area.
  • Assist with scanning, filing, and organizing patient paperwork.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Perform administrative duties to support daily operations.
  • Pull and verify insurance and eligibility.
  • Ensure patients have required referrals.
  • Work toward continuous quality improvement.
  • Stay current with changing technology
  • Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.

Previous medical receptionist experience preferred but not necessary. You must have strong organizational skills and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary is based upon experience.
