Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades.
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical plans.
- Install lighting, outlets, switches, panels, and other electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in residential electrical work, preferably in remodeling.
- Basic electrical certifications or licenses required (state/local requirements apply).
- Strong understanding of residential electrical codes and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be comfortable interacting professionally with homeowners and explaining work in a clear, courteous manner.
