Instructional Assistant - 5 hours weekly

U.S. Healthcare Services provides in-home based services to students throughout Pennsylvania who attend Charter School.

We are currently looking for an Instructional Assistant to provide support services to a 9th grader near Pennside, PA. This opportunity will be for in-person, 1 to 1 services, during the school day. Opportunities are for per-diem independent contract work that is flexible and convenient.

Pay: $30/hr.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one assistance and encourage participation in live online sessions.
• Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans for student under direction of BCBA, Behavior Specialist, or other assigned behavioral therapist.
• Prompt interventions in the areas of: behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the IEP goals or behavioral treatment plan provided by the school or licensed/certified behavior therapist.
• Guiding independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work as assigned.
• Checking class work and supervising testing and make-up work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience working with children
• Able to obtain clearances

Schedule:

• Choose your own hours during the school day, 5 hours weekly
• Monday to Friday, pick the days you work!
