Role: This position is accountable for the operations of one or more branch locations. They are responsible for the growth and profitability of their assigned branch(es) through the expansion of member relationships, establishing and attaining sales and service goals while developing and maintaining a high-quality sales and service culture. This position manages the daily sales and service activities of its assigned branch(es). In addition to salary, this position has an incentive program that gives the employee the opportunity to earn additional compensation. 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for managing all aspects of assigned branch(es): hires, reviews, schedules, provides performance reviews and monitors work. Handles escalated issues arising in assigned branches. Responsible for leading and coaching superior sales and service behaviors and activities by the entire team. 
  • Develop and execute plans in order to meet branch service and sales goals. Monitors branch operating results relative to established objectives and ensures appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions. 
  • Meets or exceeds the established branch goals each month and ensures that direct reports achieve their individual goals. Management of cash requirements and cash security for branch operations. Responsible for optimal management of vault cash in assigned branches 
  • Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations(s), suppliers, other financial institutions and similar groups. 
  • Monitors department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations. Takes action to resolve any out-of-compliance issues. 
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Performance Measurements: 

  • Maintain a cohesive, highly trained, motivated staff sufficient to meet daily branch demands. 
  • Meets or exceeds the established branch goals each month and ensures that direct reports achieve their individual goals. 
  • Provide informed, professional and accurate service and support to all members and team members. Provide feedback to members and team members from member surveys and service events within the prescribed time based on the Service Guarantee. 
  • Works with Regional VP to develop recommendations for improvements to personnel, facilities, products, pricing, policies, and processes. 
  • Development of relationships with the community and coordinating branch participation in community activities.
  • Promotion of sales culture within the branch - use of relationship building tools.
  • Ensure recovery of all critical branch functions for business contingency within recovery times set by business constraints or disaster recovery plan.
  • Complies with all applicable rules, regulations and policies, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC and Physical Security.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience Three years to five years of similar or related experience.

Education (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Interpersonal Skills Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly. Normally expected to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., some nights and/or weekends required. Must adhere to safety rules and regulations.

Work Environment The position is based in-office in one of our branches and operates primarily in a branch setting, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Occasional after-hours work or travel may be required to meet project deadlines or attend training.
