Claimant Support Specialist I

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Claimant Support Specialist to provide comprehensive administrative and claimant support services for client law firms through our specialized legal support services company. This position serves as a vital liaison between our partner law firms and their claimants, ensuring efficient case management and exceptional client service through this stage of the legal process.

Key Responsibilities

Client Data Management

  • Accurately enter and maintain claimant information.
  • Update client records with new developments, documentation, and case progress.
  • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality of all claimant information.

Client Communication & Support

  • Conduct detailed interviews with claimants to gather case-relevant information.
  • Provide ongoing follow-up communication with claimants as necessary.

Document Management

  • Collect and organize essential documents from claimants.
  • Prepare standardized mailouts and correspondence to claimants.
  • Process incoming documentation and ensure proper filing and distribution.

Required Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Detail-oriented - Exceptional attention to accuracy in data entry, document review, and client communications across multiple firm systems
  • Communication excellence - Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone presence and ability to represent various law firms
  • Call control - Ability to manage client conversations effectively, gather necessary information, and maintain professional boundaries while working with diverse client bases
  • Self-management - Capable of working independently, prioritizing tasks across multiple firms, and meeting varying deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Adaptability - Willingness to take direction and quickly adapt to different firms' procedures, protocols, and client service standards

Experience & Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in legal support, customer service, or administrative roles preferred
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and personal injury law concepts a plus
  • Proficiency in multiple database management systems and office software applications
  • Experience working with multiple clients or accounts simultaneously preferred
