Role:
Provides general maintenance to the Credit Union's facilities as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
50%Â Â Â Performs daily general maintenance duties including changing air filters, light bulbs, minor plumbing, minor electrical, hanging pictures, inspecting branches, Paint and patching walls, moving furniture, boxes, setting up for special events, and checking equipment.
30%Â Â Â Responds to requests for repair, investigates and trouble shoots issues at branches or other facilities, determines resolution for repair.
10%Â Â Â Responsible for identifying and suggesting remedies for unsafe conditions in all facilities.
5%Â Â Â Attends required training sessions. Completes assigned annual training.
5%Â Â Â Peforms other job related duties as assigned, including inter-branch delivery of items.
Performance Measurements:
1.   Carries out assigned responsibilities with minimum number of errors according to established department standards.
2.   Ensures a safe working environment maintained for members and co-workers.
3.   Completes all daily tasks in a prompt and efficient manner.
4.   Provides informed, professional and accurate service and support to all members and co-workers.
5.   Keeps management informed reguarding key operating issues affecting the department.
6.   Complies with all applicable rules, regulations and policies, including but not limited to BSA, OFAC and Physical Security.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience   One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education   A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills   Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills   General maintenance experience is desired. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly.
Normally expected to work between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., but may be required to work nights and/or weekends.
Must adhere to safety rules and regulations.
Physical Requirements   Must be able to lift equipment, chairs, desks, and other equipment,
Must be able to crawl under desks or other furniture to install / inspect equipment or wiring.
Be able to use power tools safety and climb ladders of varied height.
Be able to respond to emergencies in a timely manner and with a calm and helpful demeanor.
Work Environment   Work can be inside or outside in varied conditions, working with power tools with proper safety equipment and processes, driving to and from work locations, and may be required to tow a trailer for some work needing to be completed.
