How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Capture high-fidelity diagnostic images by expertly positioning patients and selecting precise technical parameters to ensure clinical clarity.
  • Guide patients through the imaging journey by providing empathetic education and pre-screening to reduce anxiety and ensure safety.
  • Lead quality control for the digital record by managing the seamless transfer of images to PACS, ensuring every scan is accurately marked and documented for the radiologist.
  • Maintain a high-performance clinical environment by proactively monitoring equipment health and department readiness to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • At least 3 years of MRI experience
  • Prior hospital experience
