Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide customer service, document security-related activity, and communicate professionally while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and/or incident documentation.
• Observe working conditions and report potential hazards, equipment concerns, or unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
