Overview
The Simulation and Clinical Skills Coordinator is a full-time, 12-month position that provides professional coordination of the simulation and clinical skills student experiences. The coordinator, in collaboration with the Director of Simulation and Clinical Practice Centers (Director) and Assistant Director of Simulation and Clinical Practice Centers (Assistant Director), is accountable to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating the experiences within the Simulation and Clinical Practice Centers. The coordinator will adapt an interdisciplinary approach to all functions of the department. This position includes every other weekend and occasional evenings.Responsibilities
Assists in managing the daily operations of the Clinical Practice Center and Simulation Center. Works in Collaboration with the Director of Simulation and Clinical Practice Centers and the Assistant Director of Simulation and Clinical Practice Centers learning to manage the daily operations of the simulation center. Ensures adequate provisions of supplies to meet Clinical Practice Center demands Assist with comping students on all skills. Other duties as assigned Teach simulation and clinical skills using an evidence-based approach that promotes an optimal learning environment. This includes operation of simulation equipment, task trainers, computerized simulators, and virtual reality procedural trainers. Maintains fiscal accountability to the organization through accurate use of supplies and equipment. Effectively sustains adequate job knowledge, professional growth, and problem solving abilities, including current evidence in the field of nursing and health sciences simulation and clinical practice. Maintains expert knowledge of patient simulators and task trainers including preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. Assists in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating future use of the Simulation and Clinical Practice Centers in collaboration with the Director of Simulation and Clinical Practice Centers and the Assistant Director of Simulation and Clinical Practice Centers.Qualifications
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA); Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), Education: Bachelor's Degree: Nursing, Work Experience: Registered NurseCarle Health Company Overview

Salary Range
The compensation range for this position is $29.85per hour - $51.34per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
