Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead with deep expertise in autonomous systems algorithm development and high-performance C++ implementation to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced autonomy solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring strong experience in real-time, safety-critical software systems, along with expertise in estimation theory, control systems, optimization, and robotics.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for autonomy algorithm development
- Design and implement high-performance real-time algorithms in C++ for perception, localization, sensor fusion, and control
- Develop and optimize Kalman Filters, SLAM, and sensor fusion algorithms
- Implement motion planning algorithms such as A*, RRT, and optimization-based planners
- Perform algorithm validation using MIL, SIL, and HIL methodologies
- Define and monitor performance KPIs including latency, accuracy, and robustness
- Integrate algorithms into embedded and ROS/ROS2-based systems
- Lead technical reviews, mentor engineers, and drive best practices
Required Skills
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and optimization
- Expertise in Kalman filtering, SLAM, and sensor fusion
- Advanced C++ programming skills with real-time systems experience
- Python development experience
- Strong systems engineering, verification, and validation experience
Autonomous Systems Expertise
- LiDAR perception and 3D mapping
- Computer vision and deep learning
- Multi-sensor fusion (LiDAR, Camera, IMU, GNSS)
- Path planning and autonomous control algorithms
- ROS / ROS2 and simulation environments
- Edge AI platforms, including NVIDIA Jetson
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in autonomous systems, robotics, or ADAS development
- Proven experience deploying production-grade autonomous algorithms
