Job Summary:
A Painter is responsible for applying powder coat with precision and consistency in accordance with company and customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Operates and maintains paint guns, spray equipment, reclaim equipment, and other tools in the booth according to the manufacturer instructions and company procedures
- Applies powder coating to metal parts with precision, ensuring even coverage and adherence to quality standards
- Monitors the temperature, humidity, and other environmental factors in the paint booth to ensure optimal painting conditions
- Ensures proper preparation of parts before painting, including masking, cleaning, and inspecting for defects
- Perform powder coat color changes as necessary, according to daily production plan
- Refilling the powder coat hopper when necessary
- Maintain the cleanliness of the paint booth and immediate working area
- Conducts quality checks after painting to ensure surfaces are smooth, uniform, and meet internal and external customer specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain workflow and minimize downtime
- Additional duties as assigned

- Ability to use various computer systems
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Willingness to stand for up to ten hours daily, throughout the shift
- Ability to follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Willingness to wear PPE and work in a factory environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, odor, and fumes
- Flexibility to work various shifts based on production needs
- High school diploma or GED required
