Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and optimal service flow
- Supervise and motivate staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and conducting performance evaluations
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards and uphold food safety regulations
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all food handling and kitchen activities
- Support customer service excellence by resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Manage shift schedules, oversee kitchen and front-of-house operations, and ensure timely delivery of services
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to support restaurant profitability
- Lead staff training initiatives focused on food production, food safety, hospitality practices, and team development
Experience
- Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with supervisory responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Experience in inventory control, food safety standards, and cash handling procedures
- Background in fine dining or casual dining settings with banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of staff training & development and team management
- Previous roles involving restaurant management or assistant manager experience are highly valued
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining excellent customer service
