Job Summary
Supporting Major Projects within our nuclear business, this position specializes in planning and carrying out broad assignments that lead to recommendations for change methods, procedures or policies. The nuclear projects analyst develops, plans, and coordinates activities to achieved planned results. The incumbent may be given full responsibility for planning and conducting assignments of moderate complexity.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Assists in the analysis of project metrics, including cost and schedule performance
- Assist in the evaluation of proposals, documents, and other reports
- Determine and recommend courses of corrective action to address existing and emerging situations
- Plan and coordinate activities as needed to achieve specified scopes of work assigned
- Assist in the coordinate of manpower and work activities as needed
- Serve as a backup project manager
- Maintains comprehensive view of projects with a focus on risk management and potential coordination challenges
- Prepare materials and conduct training on standard and new procedures and processes
- Supports development of project reporting and project controls
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (technical discipline preferred) with 2 years experience or 8 years equivalent related work experience (nuclear preferred) in area of Project Management
- Knowledge of plant equipment, systems and processes preferred
- Technical expertise within Project implementation
- Understanding of regulations, codes, standards, policies and procedures pertinent to the area of assigned expertise
- Ability to work cross functionally to achieve planned results including ability to work with others in the industry on collaborate assignments
