Job Summary:

 ACCOUNTABILITIES

Monitor and evaluate field operations performance.

Facilitate Incident Command as needed.

Act as liaison with medical facilities and fire departments.

Oversee and document field personnel performance.

Address and resolve customer complaints.

Manage special events coverage.

Direct daily work assignments and emergency scheduling.

Provide medical consultation and treatment directions to field staff.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency with computers.

Years of Experience: Five (5) years’ experience as a Paramedic

License: Valid state issues driver’s license (Must maintain a satisfactory driving record)

Certification: Paramedic certification in Ohio, Paramedic Licenses in Michigan, AHA – BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire, Pre-Hospital Trauma Course, NRP Essentials within 90 days of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college.

Skills: N/A

Years of Experience: Two (2) years’ experience as a Field Training Officer.

License: N/A

Certification: EVOC instructor, Ohio Fire and Emergency Services Instructor I

WORKING CONDITIONS

Personal Protective Equipment: Must be able to maintain all health requirements as directed by ProMedica Health System and PTN. (I.E. PPD, Respirator Training, vaccines as appropriate.)

Physical Demands: Must be able to move between related facilities and endure prolonged periods of standing. Must frequently move, lift, or carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Must be able to tolerate working in inclement weather. Must tolerate exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, temperature changes, bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, and odors such as various exhaust fumes.
