JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair. 
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment anduniformincludingnametag,glovesand goggles. 
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis.Identifyassociates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents. 
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds,vacuumingand cleaning. 
• Verifies and updatesstatusof discrepant rooms throughout the shift. 
• Randomlyselectsassigned rooms to ensure cleanliness. 
• Perform opening and closing shift duties. 
• Notifies GMand/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary. 
• Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances. 
• Acts as Manager on Duty whenrequired. 
• Available to work nights, weekends, andholidaysas necessary. 
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet businessobjectives 

 

EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of two (2) years in leadershipHousekeepingposition 
• Minimum of High School education, post-high school educationpreferred 

 

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLSAND ABILITIES

• Basic computer skills 
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and inwriting 
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and teammembers 
• Excellent time management skills
