Job Description
Position Overview: This role is a highly flexible, multi-site operations position designed to support Keystone’s Seed Hubs, Crop Nutrient Hubs, and Agronomy locations operations as business needs dictate. While the employee has a primary reporting manager and home facility, their time and priorities will be dynamically allocated across locations and departments based on seasonal demand, staffing needs, and operational urgency.
Due to the multi-site nature of this role, the employee must demonstrate strong accountability in time management and accurately clock in and clock out based on the specific location, department, or operation being serviced at any given time, including transitions between locations during the workday.
The individual must be comfortable traveling between multiple Keystone locations, performing varying job functions, and adapting quickly as priorities shift. During peak seasons, this role may require extended hours and occasional overnight travel.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties will flex by season and business need and may include, but are not limited to, the following.
Seed Hub Operations
Support day-to-day Seed Hub operations including seed receiving, palletizing, staging, treatment, and shipment preparation.
Enter and manage seed orders, deliveries, and invoicing using Agvance and related tools.
Deliver seed boxes or pallets to farms or Agronomy Locations as necessary.
Assist with inventory management, month-end counts, and shrink control.
Maintain compliance with safety, OSHA, and facility standards.
Crop Nutrient Hub Operations
Assist with unloading fertilizer from railcars and trucks into appropriate storage locations.
Operate heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, forklifts, trucks) safely and efficiently.
Support outbound loading of blended and straight products.
Perform general facility, equipment, and grounds maintenance.
Agronomy Location Support
Serve as an operational backup to location staff.
Delivery of agronomy products to customers or field applicators as needed.
Assist with inbound/outbound products, lot maintenance, and housekeeping.
Support inventory measurement of dry fertilizer, NH3, UAN, and crop protection products.
Communicate daily activities, needs, and accomplishments to site managers.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong operational knowledge of facility, equipment, and inventory management.
Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain high attention to detail in fast‑paced, seasonal environments.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and capable of learning company‑specific software systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of crop nutrients and agricultural operations preferred, but not required
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required; additional education in agriculture preferred
Class A or B CDL (or Ag CDL) with appropriate endorsements preferred or required (based on assignment)
Valid driver’s license with ability to meet Motor Vehicle Review requirements
Prior agronomy, seed operations, or agricultural facility experience preferred
Physical and Work Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee needs to stay in good physical condition to regularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance activities, and perform other physical duties necessary in running an agricultural location. Employee will regularly be required to walk, stand, lift, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, handle, feel and grasp.Â
