POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the supervision of a physician.  The CMA is also responsible for clerical duties, when needed, to facilitate departmental operations and efficiency.

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Graduation certificate from an accredited Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program, required
  • Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification, required
  • Prior CMA experience, preferred
  • CPR certification, preferred
