We are currently seeking Environmental Inspectors who will work with Stantec’s Environmental group out of our Petaluma office. The successful candidate will provide field and technical support services on a variety of projects relating to water and waste management, and other environmental programs.

Your Key Responsibilities

Perform and document field data collection activities; assist in the completion of project level work (daily timesheets and work plans, data management, analyze field and technical data, and report preparation) on environmental management projects;
Conduct multi-media sampling (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, wastewater, naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORMs) etc.);
Completion of fieldwork, including documenting site activities, soil and groundwater sampling, soil characterization, monitoring water quality, and discharging water to surface;
Prepare appropriate health and safety documents and participate in client health and safety meetings and adhere to Stantec and our clients’ safety procedures;
Prepare daily summary emails and site diagrams and submit reports to online reporting systems; and
Learn and follow standard operation procedures for work assignments.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
