Process laboratory specimens; perform clerical duties; maintain daily quality control data and assist in maintaining laboratory equipment; assist Medical Technologists in clinical laboratory tests; complete all send outs; answer the phone to assist units with laboratory questions; perform phlebotomy and assist with the collection of other types of specimens.

Required Qualifications:
- Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License, or
- Upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: 2 years of college.
- 1 year experience as a clinical laboratory assistant in an acute care laboratory.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
