Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards with a focus on quality customer service
Operate directional drilling locator equipment in accordance with company and industry standards
Confirm bore path with install foreman and drill operator
Apply understanding of percentages, avoid existing utilities
Ensure proper clearances exist
Maintain all equipment in good and safe working condition, report any findings to the foreman
Operate other equipment as needed
Provide support to other construction activities
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum two years of directional drilling locating experience
Ability to read and interpret blue prints
Knowledge of utility depths and placements
General knowledge of construction practices
Class A CDL license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas
Must be able to lift, push, and carry 50 – 70 pounds
Must be able to work in various conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat and cold

Additional Requirements:

Must be able to work Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 5:00PM; additional work, including on-call, may be required
Must be willing to travel as needed (Monday – Friday)
