A Packer is responsible for packing the muscles and proper placement of muscles in molds.

Responsibilities:

Pack product to specifications as outlined in the SOP
When performing the scaling position weigh to requirements as outlined in the SOP
Inspect the meat in the performance of the job to ensure quality and specifications are attained.
Train other team members to be a back up packer.
Maintain a neat, clean, safe work area.
Must work as a team player ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
Must follow company’s GMP’s, SOP’s, Plant Rules and Policies
Assist other departments as assigned by Supervisor/Lead/Manager
Other duties may be assigned.
