Responsibilities:Â
CMMS – SAP / S4.
High functional proficiency within SAP / S4 PM and MM
Ownership of SAP / S4 Master data governanceÂ
Ownership of Strategies, Planned tasks, FLOC & Equipment structure maintenance
Demonstratable experience in Life cycle modeling, RCA, CBM, RE, Oil analysis systems
Demonstratable experience with BoM management – alignment to maintenance plans
Work with the Reliability Engineering team to the betterment SAP / S4 governance
Work with the Reliability Engineering team to develop a structured BI reporting systems drawn from SAP / S4
Develop and maintain medium-to-long-term planning - minimum 12 months to 2 years
Collaborate with the leadership team toward budget building, tracking OpEx and CapEx, modelling and cost analysis, forecasting and review
Implement Safety into our planned work were identified
Departmental:
Collaborate with the leadership team to identify, build, and standardize work management practices,
Ownership of planning team complianceÂ
Collaborate with the leadership team to identify Planning Team KPI’s and compliance
Collaborate with the Reliability Engineering and Execution teams driving advancement toward Scope of Work practice. Drive the standard
Ownership of a monthly meeting, driving key planning targets, budget targets and trackingÂ
Developing Midlife rebuild plans, contractor and vendor engagement, material security
Work in conjunction with the Mine Planning team, supporting critical machine availability, 12 Weeks rollingÂ
Work in conjunction with our key machine suppliers toward critical parts / items, medium to long-term plans
Work in conjunction with our onsite rebuild shop leaders, supporting long lead time / critical parts for rebuilds
Planning Team:
Build strong working relationships with interdepartmental leaders, operational alignment with key stakeholders
Collaboration with the leadership team toward balanced planning activities, maintenance, and execution – against operational demands
Provide Leadership, Encouragement, and Mentoring for a team of Local & National maintenance planners
Identify pathways, training requirements, and career progression opportunities within the team
Drive SAP / S4 training with support from the Barrick SAP Team, Barricks Online portal and QRG’s
Work with the leadership team to develop and document, weekly expectations, flow charts, A Day in the life guidesÂ
Drive the planning team to maintain a strong focus toward safety and cost efficiency Â
Work with the planners and execution supervisors to develop a documented weekly review meeting
Work with the planners, execution, and the reliability team to maintain weekly scheduled compliance KPI’s
Support the weekly planners with backlog to forward log activities
Work with all stakeholders to rectify issues related to the planning area
Implement, drive, and support a culture of continuous improvement
- Step-up for the Superintendent Planning and Reliability when the need arises
Qualification Requirements:
- Mobile Plant Mechanical trade
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical EngineeringÂ
- SAP / S4 qualifications will be highly regarded
Experience and Skills Requirements:Â
5 - 10 years planning experience within Underground Mining environments
Current or recent supervisory planning role
High functional proficiency in SAP / S4 – PM and MM
Previous experience within a training role
Experience in current Maintenance and Scheduling practices/techniques
Experience working within a multi-national workforce

The Kibali gold mine is located in the northeast of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), approximately 220 kilometres east of the capital of the Haut Uele province, Isiro, 150 kilometres west of the Ugandan border town of Arua and 1,800 kilometres from the Kenyan port of Mombasa. The mine is owned by Kibali Goldmines SA (Kibali) which is a joint venture company effectively owned 45% by each of Barrick and AngloGold Ashanti, and 10% by Société Miniére de Kilo-Moto (SOKIMO). The mine is operated by Barrick.
