The Staff Pad has partnered with a premiere hospital in Russellville, AL to hire a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse – Med Surg (PRN) for a dynamic inpatient care team.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards.

Schedule: PRN | Days | Nights

What You’ll Do

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document findings
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to any changes in status
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff
  • Educate patients and families on treatments, recovery, and ongoing care
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
  • Uphold hospital standards for safety, quality, and infection control

What We’re Looking For

  • Active LPN license in the state of Alabama
  • 3+ months of nursing experience required; Acute care experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, clinical judgment & critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting
