The Center for Data & Society at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA, invites applications for an Adjunct Professor to teach a robotics course using Raspberry Pi platforms beginning in Fall 2026.
Courses are delivered on campus and meet twice weekly for 75 minutes. Specific meeting times are to be determined.
Additional teaching opportunities may be available in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and future semesters in related subject areas.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a closely related fieldÂ
- Prior college-level teaching experience preferredÂ
- Evidence of ongoing professional developmentÂ
- Strong problem-solving, written, and oral communication skillsÂ
- Experience using a learning management system, preferably CanvasÂ

The Center for Data & Society is an interdisciplinary departmental grouping of the computer, cybersecurity, mathematical, data science, business analytics, and select social science departments, with multiple minors.
The program offers courses that are designed to prepare students for careers in computer science and related fields. Students take a variety of courses that introduce them to programming concepts, data structures, computer algorithms, computer architecture, networking, and cybersecurity.
