This position within the Superior Court Executive Administrator’s Office is responsible for the proper and timely recording of court-related financial transactions as well as personnel functions. The Fiscal Technician will work under the direction of the Court’s Executive Administrator and must possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with an enhanced level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Typical Duties

  • Maintain a high level of proficiency with Workday and ASAP systems and must be able to perform all routine tasks on both personnel and fiscal functions in those systems.
  • Primary job duties include performing the core functions of the Superior Court financial operations including, but not limited to the following ASAP functions:
    • Processing invoices charged against contracts, purchase orders, and miscellaneous encumbrances;
    • Processing routine business invoices (UPS, FedEx, Verizon, Verizon Wireless, and office supply invoices);  
    • Maintaining accurate information on vendors;
    • Processing business expenses and corporate credit card purchases;
    • Reviewing and processing invoices related to leases (including rent), parking, leased equipment and maintenance invoices for office equipment;
    • Processing subscriptions for Westlaw, Lexis and related information services;
    • Submitting and posting voucher transmittals;
    • Submitting accurate refunds of expenditures; and,
    • Submitting accurate Revenue transmittals.
  • Additional job duties include supporting some of the core functions of the Superior Court personnel operations including, but not limited to the following Workday functions:
    • Posting job requisitions;
    • Setting up job interviews with candidates;
    • Onboarding new hires;
    • Performing employee transfers when approved;
    • Analyzing salaries across Superior Court;
    • Entering promotions and other changes to personnel;
    • Processing terminations of employment when approved;
    • Tracking internships;
    • Processing retirements; and
    • Setting up annuitants.
  • Commensurate with the level of experience, this position must be able to identify problems and spot potential issues with Executive Administrator operations (financial and personnel).
  • This position must be able to communicate clearly with Superior Court staff about Executive Administrator operations when required.
  • Performs related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university; and
  • Three years of clerical experience within a professional setting.
  • An equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training may be considered.

  • Satisfactory criminal background check required.

Starting Salary Range

$48,128-$62,834
