Located in the heart of Midtown Village, ROOST offers thoughtfully designed spaces, warm hospitality, and a residential experience that feels both elevated and effortless. 

 

About the Role 

The Housekeeper plays a key role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and impeccably maintained environment for our guests. This position is responsible for ensuring all guest rooms and public spaces meet ROOST’s high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation. Ideal candidates are detailoriented, reliable, and take pride in delivering thoughtful, elevated service. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Clean and refresh guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas to brand standards 
  • Change linens, make beds, restock amenities, and maintain inroom supplies 
  • Clean and maintain public areas, hallways, and backofhouse spaces 
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly 
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleaning protocols 
  • Support laundry operations as needed 
  • Uphold a warm, professional, guestfocused demeanor at all times 

Qualifications 

  • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not required 
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency 
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently 
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods 
  • Weekend and holiday availability preferred

Working Conditions/Environment: 

  • The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
  • Agility in executing fast-paced movements to navigate different areas of the property efficiently.
  • The person having this responsibility may have to move, pull, carry, or lift objects weighing at least 50 pounds.
