  • Gateway Search Associates is seeking professionals for accounting roles at various levels, including Consultant, Manager, and Senior Manager.
  • Consultants require 2 to 5 years of experience and will work on operational due diligence for complex transactions, with a competitive salary based on experience.
  • Managers should have 6 to 8 years of experience and will lead teams in solving complex accounting issues and mentoring Consultants.
  • Senior Managers need over 8 years of experience and will interact with clients' executive teams, driving conclusions on operational due diligence and regulatory compliance.
  • All positions require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with CPA and/or MBA preferred, and offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Consultants:

Preparation of operational due diligence for complex transactions (i.e. – acquisitions & divestitures, stock offerings and debt raises, IPO’s). 

Accounting projects focused on carving out business units/subsidiaries. 

Integration with client’s internal staff as a subject matter expert when it comes to operational senior accounting tasks or overall financial team support.

Preparation of financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC and regulatory requirements (i.e. – 10K’s, 10Q’s, S-1 and S-4 filings, audit coordination). 

Research & documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards (i.e. – ASC 842, ASC 606).

Process improvement projects and implementation of changes.


Managers:

Integration with client’s senior management to solve complex accounting issues and for preparation of proposed resolutions. 

Review of work prepared by Consultants on operational due diligence for complex transactions (i.e. – acquisitions & divestitures, stock offerings and debt raises, IPO’s).

Review of Consultants’ deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC and regulatory requirements (i.e. – 10K’s, 10Q’s, S-1 and S-4 filings, audit coordination). 

Research & documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards (i.e. – ASC 842, ASC 606).

Process improvement projects and implementation of changes.

Lead and mentor Consultants, acting as a role model and providing creative solutions that enhance Consultant’s overall experience.

Participate in the firm’s recruiting efforts, client relationship building and business development efforts.



Senior Managers:

Interact with clients’ executive team and auditors, serving as a subject matter expert, leading clients through complex accounting issues and driving conclusions.  

Lead client engagement and own client delivery on operational due diligence for complex transactions (i.e. – IPO’s, acquisitions & divestitures, stock offerings and debt raises).

Drive client deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC and regulatory requirements (i.e. – 10K’s, 10Q’s, S-1 and S-4 filings, audit coordination).

Serve as an expert matter on projects related to new ASC accounting standards (i.e. – ASC 842, ASC 606).

Lead process improvement projects and implementation of changes.

Mentor managers and consultants, acting as a moral and ethical model, fostering engagement team professional growth, and providing constructive and actionable feedback. 

Lead firm initiatives and identify areas for improvements. 

Play an active role in the firm’s recruiting efforts, client relationship building and business development efforts. 



Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
CPA and/or MBA preferred
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and ability to assimilate easily into teams.

Strong technical skills and a working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.

Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities.

Entrepreneurial nature, self-motivated, ethical and dependable.

High energy with commitment to quality client service.


Consultant:

2 to 5 years’ experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.


Manager:

6 to 8 years’ experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.


Senior Manager:

8+ years’ experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.
