Job DetailsJob Location: Philadelphia PA Corporate - Philadelphia, PA 19103Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeJob Category: Information TechnologyIndependence Realty Trust is creating an AI Solutions Lead role to join our team in Philadelphia, PA.  We're seeking your talent and expertise to drive the adoption of AI and automation across our multifamily operations — initiatives including resident experience, employee experience, maintenance, leasing, marketing, and accounting with the portfolio evolving as the business does. This individual contributor role connects our business leaders with our engineering team, shaping stakeholder requests into well-defined requirements, validating them against our data, and guiding solutions from concept through delivery. *Must be able to work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office)   What You'll Do • Partner with department heads and senior leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities for AI and automation. • Lead structured discovery to define the underlying business problem behind each request, then shape it into a complete solution that anticipates where the  business is heading. • Analyze operational data to confirm root causes and quantify the opportunity before a solution is scoped. • Develop working command of our data landscape and core business systems — what information exists, where it lives, and how it moves between platforms — and partner with our technology and engineering teams through delivery. • Serve as the translator between audiences: clear requirements and business cases for delivery teams, plain-language framing and tradeoffs for leadership. • Own initiatives end to end — from rollout planning and sequencing through sustained post-launch ownership, continuing to refine and enhance each solution as business needs evolve. QualificationsWhat We're Looking For This role draws on three areas: technology fluency, business acumen, and multifamily domain knowledge. We are looking for candidates with genuine depth in at least two, and we will invest in developing the third. • Technology fluency — experience supporting, administering, or implementing enterprise business software such as property management systems, ERP, or CRM platforms, or a comparable technical background. Sufficient command of systems, integrations, and data structures to engage credibly with technology and engineering partners. • Business acumen — either direct multifamily or real estate operations experience, or a demonstrated track record of developing command of a new business quickly. • Analytical depth — skilled at working through large datasets in Excel, AI tools, or similar to distinguish true underlying drivers from surface-level patterns.  • Consultative communication — an exceptional client-facing presence, equally effective with front-line teams and executive leadership, and skilled at guiding stakeholders from an initial request to a well-formed requirement. • Precision and accountability — organized, detail-oriented, and reliably accountable for outcomes and status. • 3–5+ years in product management, business analysis, solutions consulting, systems implementation, or operations. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.   Preferred Qualifications • Multifamily property technology, property operations, or asset management experience. • Exposure to AI, automation, or enterprise technology implementations. • Familiarity with REIT or public-company environments.   Independence Realty Trust is an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture.
