AVP Finance / Physician Alignment

The Assistant Vice President of Finance for the Temple Faculty Practice Plan Inc. (TFPP) will assist the TFPP Chief Financial Officer and leadership by supporting the day-to-day financial matters that impact TFPP. TFPP is the largest physician arm of the Temple University Health System (TUHS). The AVP of Finance will serve an integral part in our physician practice finance operations by working with department Chairs and Administrators to develop and manage compensation plans, evaluate new opportunities, and optimize clinical performance through effort/productivity analysis. In addition, will be responsible for the operations execution of physician growth, alignment, and integration initiatives. The ideal candidate is a dynamic seasoned and driven leader with 10-15 years of healthcare finance. The successful candidate will have a track record of being a self-starter, innovative, working well with others, and a demonstrated ability to develop talent.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting or related field (Required)
• Master’s Degree in related field (Preferred)

Experience

• 10+ years experience in financial management in Health Care (Required)
• 5 years experience with Academic Faculty Practice Plan (Required)
• General Experience with in-depth knowledge of financial information systems (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (Preferred)
