BARTENDER

The bartender represents the Barcade brand and as such is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the brand and it’s unique offerings. Bartenders are responsible for serving guests in a timely and courteous fashion. 

This position is for shifts on the busiest shifts of the week at one of our newest location  so experience working at a high volume Philly bar is required.

Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drink
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for any and all discrepancies in the final drawer tally
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Standard set up and break down of bar and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a fast paced and high standard bar setting.
• Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands.
• Working knowledge of craft beer, craft spirits and food.
• Interest in vintage arcade games.
• A passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
