Performs and/or assists with direct patient care; performs sheath removal; performs, records and interprets hemodynamic waveforms and electrocardiograhic tracings. The Technologist prepares, maintains and operates sophisticated radiologic equipment including cineangiographic, fluorographic, digital image recording, laser and electrophysiology equipment. in a safe and responsible manner. Assists physician in performing diagnostic and interventional, cardiac and peripheral catheterizations. Assists in the monitoring of quality control program.

Education
Associates Degree : in Radiologic Studies (Required)
Non Degree Program : Approved Cardiovascular Technology Program (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience
1 Year experience as a cardiac cath or interventional radiology technologist (Preferred)

License/Certifications
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
ARRT - Amer Reg Radiologic Technlgst (Required) or RCIS - Reg Cardio Invasive Specialist (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
