Lead Technician Job DescriptionÂ

 As a Lead Filter Technician, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Strategize
- Willing and able to use critical thinkingto problemsolve daily issues.
- Collaborate with RSM (Regional Service Manager) to create a plan to reach attainment, revenue, and safety goals on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Propose and implement best practices that maximize profitability and compliance.
- Identifyand propose methods to continue improving currentprocessand procedures, to ROM (Regional Operations Manager) and RSM.
- Support
- Ability to supportday to dayoperations by taking phone calls fromtechs.
- Lead morning huddles (when RSM unavailable and other periodic times)
- Monitordashboardand queries to track daily team progress.
- Facilitate communications across departments for customerrequest.
- Cover for RSM when necessary.
- Travel where necessary to support the attainment needs of the team due to technician turnover, injuries, business growth, weatherimpactsand any other circumstances
- Strengthen
- Train and cross train new and existing technicians.
- Lead efforts in team knowledge of systems,processesand quality service delivery.
- Engage and motivategroupof technicians to foster teamwork andestablishpositive team culture.
- Support culture of safety within team by ensuring adherence to all safety policies
- Field Expectations
- Product knowledge expert in safety, scope of work, and other daily tech expectations.
- Ability to cover a route (to includeovernight andweekend routes) as necessary. 
- Performsetamount of Quality and Live Safety audits per week.
- Support onboarding of technicians, to include in-person training of new hires running routes
- Willing and able to travel when necessary.  This may include extensive periods of route coverage while open routes are recruited and onboarded.
- Ability to learn andtrain on site-specific and new scopes of work.Â
- Qualification/Characteristics
- Been with BFC forminimum1 year or relevant external experience.
- Proven record of safety, performanceattainmentand positive leadership
- Flexible travel schedule
- Coachable/open to growth opportunities
- Able to offer support via phone/video
- Able to train and develop new technicians
- Teacher/Trainer skillset with patience to teach
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Subject matter expert
- Able to read and understand dashboards and queries.
