Meet Our Leadership TeamEngineering Internship Program
Network Building + Consulting (NB+C) is a leader in the wireless infrastructure industry, serving every major wireless carrier and tower company, leading fiber and EV charging providers and utility companies across the United States. NB+C is committed to building a devoted team that provides innovative solutions for our clients at every phase of the network development life cycle.
We’re looking for enthusiastic summer interns for our Engineering Division who want to gain valuable engineering experience in this fast-paced, cutting-edge industry. Our summer interns will work closely with our engineering team to assist in designing and deploying our clients’ networks. Over the span of 12 weeks, you will have the opportunity to work on real projects and develop meaningful mentor partnerships. Each intern will be paired with a Mentor who will provide them with 1-on-1 training and career development throughout the summer.
Responsibilities:
- GIS Intern – This Intern will be supporting civil engineering, land surveying, and utility infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include right-of-way verification through land record research, documenting plats, deeds, and easements within GIS software, and supporting utility infrastructure design and engineering using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Works closely with civil, survey, and design teams to support permitting and project development efforts.
Software: AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS (ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Online), Microsoft Office
Engineering Interns will learn about:
- Assisting in the development of construction drawings for clients
- Site design and equipment specifications
- Attending site walks with senior engineers
