Overview

Drill-Tech is seeking HDD Laborers to support horizontal directional drilling crews on underground utility projects in Philadelphia, PA.

Headquartered in Chester, Maryland, Drill-Tech performs HDD and underground utility work throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

This is a hands-on field position responsible for assisting HDD crews with daily operations, equipment setup, material handling, and general construction activities. Previous HDD experience is helpful but not required for candidates with a strong construction background.

Responsibilities

  • Assist HDD crews with daily field operations
  • Support drilling, reaming, pullback, and pipe installation
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
  • Assist with equipment setup and cleanup
  • Help maintain clean and organized jobsites
  • Perform general labor duties as assigned
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Work closely with foremen and equipment operators

Qualifications

  • Construction or underground utility experience preferred
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in underground utility construction
  • Experience working around HDD equipment
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Class A CDL or interest in obtaining one
  • Experience operating small equipment such as skid steers or mini excavators
