Summary
Administers and scores psychological test batteries evaluate cognitive, neuropsychological, academic, behavioral, and emotional status in order to assist the Neuropsychologists in evaluation and treatment decisions. Leads and supports the Psychometrist employees.

Job Duties
  • Provides ongoing supervision and support to other Psychometrists.
  • Assists with maintaining computer programs related to Neuropsychological testing.
  • Assists with other clerical duties as needed related to Neuropsychological testing.
  • Participates in regular supervisory meetings with the Neuropsychologists.
  • Records behavioral observations of the patient during the testing session.
  • Administers neuropsychological testing in a standardized manner.
  • Scores tests administered by Psychometrist or Neuropsychologist.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, or related field
  • 2 years of experience administering standardized neuropsychological, psychological, or educational tests.
  • Proficient in basic software applications including MS Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in psychology, education, or related field.
  • Bilingual.

Additional Qualifications
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
