Locksmith

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated facility management and maintenance service, is seeking a Locksmith/Carpenter. The position will be responsible for the installation, operation, replacement, repair and maintenance of standard and maximum-security locking systems including hardware and correctional locks.

Will maintain and operate the Lock Shop; maintain and use a key making machine, software, key blanks, key cylinders and miscellaneous parts; Receives and responds to service calls; takes immediate action to resolve emergency situations or system breakdowns; oversees routine and preventive maintenance programs; Will work in cooperation with other trades, maintenance staff and or contractors, as assigned.  Must follow safety and security procedures.  PPE provided. May be assigned additional duties.

Qualifications:

1. High school graduate, GED or equivalent years of experience;
2. Completion of training as a Locksmith
3. Familiarity with building systems and knowledge of building codes and regulations
4. Must have the ability to make keys and maintain software systems
5. Valid vehicle operator’s license
