Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for a locum tenens opportunity in Langhorne, PA. This position offers high patient volume, strong subspecialty support, and competitive compensation in a Level II Trauma Center with 24-hour Pediatric ED coverage.

Opportunity Details:

• Location: Langhorne, PA
• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule: Varied Shifts Available Daily (6 AM – 1 AM, Not Including Night Shift)
  • Physician Shifts:
    • Monday – Sunday: 6 AM – 2 PM
    • Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 3 PM
    • Saturday – Sunday: 9 AM – 4 PM
    • Monday – Friday: 11 AM – 6 PM
    • Monday – Sunday: 2 PM – 10 PM
    • Monday: 4 PM – 1 AM
    • Tuesday – Friday: 5 PM – 1 AM
    • Saturday – Sunday: 3 PM – 11 PM
  • APC Shifts:
    • Monday: 10 AM – 6 PM & 3 PM – 11 PM
    • Tuesday – Friday: 10 AM – 10 PM
    • Saturday – Sunday: 10 AM – 6 PM
• Minimum Commitment: Flexible
• Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume: 34,581 patient visits
  • Emergency Department Beds: 68
  • Pediatric Beds: 12
  • Pediatric Volume: 13,489 patient visits
  • Trauma Level II
  • High Acuity | 23% Admission Rate
  • All Backup Specialties Available
  • Fast Track Available
• EMR System: Meditech
• Scribe Coverage: Available
• Travel & Lodging: Provided

Patient Load & Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 1.8

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM Board Certified or Eligible
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted PA State License & DEA
• Required Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS
