Amuneal Manufacturing is seeking talented Maintenance Technicians to join our fast-paced, dedicated, and extremely talented team. Candidates should be able to work independently, have a strong working knowledge of general construction trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing) and experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment. They will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs across a wide variety of wood shop and metal shop equipment as well as general facilities work throughout all four of our Philadelphia facilities. This role will operate on a 5 day, 8 hour schedule with working hours from 6:30AM-3:00PM Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Work safely and independently in an organized manner to troubleshoot and resolve issues with high quality and lasting solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on common wood working and metal working equipment (i.e. table saws, edge banders, edge and drum sanders, shapers, joiners, band saws, rollers, etc).
- Perform general building repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general facilities work.
- Understanding and following OSHA rules and monitoring our facilities and teams for OSHA compliance.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in a maintenance role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record using a variety of tools and trades to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a high quality manner.
- Consistent attention to detail and a strong desire to understand and properly address the root causes of issues.
- Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
- Positive, upbeat attitude with receptiveness to being approached by others in the organization with new problems or issues that require attention.
