Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Terms: 13 to 26 Weeks
Description:
Birch Agency is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team.
The MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients internal structures. They ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while working closely with radiologists and healthcare teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate MRI equipment to capture detailed diagnostic images
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
Screen patients for contraindications (e.g., metal implants, pacemakers, claustrophobia)
Explain procedures to patients and address concerns
Administer contrast agents as prescribed
Monitor patients during imaging for safety and comfort
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and MRI safety protocols
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostics

Required Qualifications
H.S. Diploma/GED (required)
ARRT in MRI REQUIRED
MRI Certification (required)
CT Certification (preferred)
