Sonic Summary

The position involves assisting the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to unlicensed nursing support staff.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or relevant education and experience.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Nursing Assistant role is preferred for applicants.
Licenses required include Basic Life Support, while Certified Nursing Assistant certification is preferred.
The role emphasizes the incorporation of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all patient care activities.

Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required or
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required

Experience
1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred

Licenses
Basic Life Support Required
Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
