The Nursing Professional Development Practitioner II position offers flexible shifts, either four 10-hour shifts from 8pm to 6:30am or five 8-hour shifts from 11pm to 7:30am, Monday through Friday.
This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in nursing, with a Master's Degree in Science in Nursing preferred.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of acute care RN experience, with 2 years of education or management experience preferred.
Licenses required include a PA Registered Nurse License and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification, along with BLS Instructor status and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within one year of hire.
The position is focused on improving nursing practice through various roles including mentor, facilitator, and advocate for nursing professional development.

The Nursing Professional Development Practitioner II uses tools, theories, skills and knowledge of nursing professional development (NPD) to improve the practice of staff. The NPD Practitioner functions in the roles of change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, champion of scientific inquiry, partner for practice transitions, and advocate for the NPD specialty. (BLS Instructor, Pediatric Adv. Life Support and Nursing Prof. Development-BC required within 12 months of date of hire.)
