With this in mind, we are continually striving to find the most qualified and committed candidates to join our team--those with a talent and passion for what they do!  Position Summary:  The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the warehouse and ensuring that all products are properly accounted for. This position plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations by performing regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and maintaining detailed records to ensure product integrity and compliance with food safety standards.   Responsibilities:  Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy. Investigate and reconcile inventory variances by reviewing transaction histories, warehouse movements, and system data. Ensure all incoming and outgoing products are properly scanned, labeled, and recorded in the warehouse management system (WMS). Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all inventory-related activities. Assist with inventory adjustments, product recalls, and stock rotations as directed. Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing, and quality assurance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve accuracy. Monitor and report on product shelf life, expiration dates, and damaged goods. Follow and uphold all company policies related to food safety, sanitation, and inventory handling procedures. Support annual physical inventories and audit processes. Experience operating electric pallet jack and forklift preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems (WMS or ERP). Basic understanding of FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) inventory practices. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional departments. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in refrigerated and frozen environments as needed.
