Job Summary

The Registered Pharmacy Automation Specialist is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of automated medication distribution systems to achieve high-quality standards of care in pharmacy medication storage and distribution. Provides ongoing monitoring of processes surrounding the automated distribution of medications to evaluate compliance with procedures and integrity of equipment.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

 

  • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
  • High School Diploma - OR - GED completed within 6 months of hire

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Automated Dispensing Cabinet (Ex, Pyxis, Omnicell) experience
  • Drug Diversion Monitoring and Detection Software (ex, Bluesight/ControlCheck) experience.

 

Certification and Licensure

 

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician in Pennsylvania
